The Summer 2011 wedding season is coming to a close and I’m gearing up for some fabulous Autumn weddings! But before we kiss Summer goodbye, I want to share some of my favorite brides from this season.

I’m going to kick off my Summer Faves list in style…studded hot pink high heel style! Brittany Stokes was a blast! She is such a glam girl and totally rocked her wedding look.

I did the bridal makeup for Brittany’s brother’s new wife, Megan Loeber, a few months back so I had the pleasure of doing Brittany’s, and her beautiful mom’s, makeup then. They are such an adorable and sweet family. I was excited when Brittany called shortly after her sister’s wedding to book me for her own wedding.

Meet Rachel and Rob. They’re good friends of mine so of course they made my Summer 2011 Favorites List! They’re an awesome, fun-loving and easy-breezy couple. Rachel is gorgeous and Rob is such a sweetheart. It was wonderful to be a part of their wedding (and engagement shoot) and make Rachel feel like a total Princess.

Their wedding was at the Skelly Lodge and it was a beautiful day—a nice 70 degrees and a bit overcast, which unfortunately made it a bit troublesome in the lighting department. But no biggie! We decided to set up on the upstairs patio to apply the makeup and it was so much fun. Everything turned out beautifully!
