Today I’m back on the blog to share the story of soon-to-be bride Shannon and her fiancé, Dylan. The two attended school together since middle school, but officially met through a friend sophomore year of high school, and Shannon says they “have been inseparable ever since!”
Dylan surprised Shannon by proposing on Thanksgiving Day. She was busy checking their lottery tickets on the computer- when she announced they had not won, Dylan asked if she still loved him and of course, she said yes. When she spun around in the chair she realized he was down on one knee, surrounded by his family. When he asked if she would marry him, Shannon asked if she was getting punked! The family assured her this was the real deal and the rest is history! Shannon and Dylan are set to tie the knot on September 5, 2013.
On selecting me as her makeup artist, Shannon says she was drawn to me because I use MAC products. She saw my work with other brides based on the photos on my website and was confident in my skills. We did a trial run for her wedding look before her engagement photo session with Artworks Tulsa Photography and Shannon was thrilled with the makeup. She says, “It looked natural but showed up well in the pictures.” I can’t wait to make Shannon look gorgeous on her wedding day!

On August 24th I’m launching an awesome new referral program. All of my makeup clients will now receive referral cards to share with friends. Once you have a friend redeem a card, you and that friend receive $30 off your next makeup application (originally $75). The discount can be redeemed for any event other than a wedding or a wedding makeup trial (as trials are already discounted to $55).
