How many professional makeup artists can say that they did Barbie’s wedding makeup? Even better…how many can say they did the makeup for a Barbie…who was marrying Ken?! I can!
This summer I did the wedding makeup for bride Barbie and all her best girls. My first thought, when Barbie told me her name, was, “Oh how awesome! I’m doing Barbie’s wedding makeup!” (What makeup artist doesn’t dream of being able to say, “I did Barbie’s makeup?” A girl’s dream, of course!) Nothing could rain on Barbie and Ken’s parade. It was, well, Barbie and Ken’s wedding, after all!
And since I’m still so excited about being able to say, “Yup, I’m a makeup artist who did Barbie and Ken’s wedding!” I came across THIS adorable, and rather ingenious, blog post featuring a…Barbie and Ken wedding! Just take a look for yourself. It’s such a cute idea; I just had to snag a photo and share on my Blog!
